It "RAINed" in KL & the 3 digit number arrives in the last frontier

A glowing review of his concert in Malaysia HERE but not so glowing on his songs. Anyway if you bought Star Newspaper today, you're in for a treat. Basically the same article BUT the cover to that feature was so gorgeous. Rain, standing soaking wet on the stage (closeup) with water drizzling and he looked like he was about to or maybe have danced up a storm! Sorry about all those weather talk but damn, that feature was like tornado to my senses, hurricane to my eyes and definitely after all the rain and all, there's the rainbow! Amazing cover!

So were you at his concert? Apparently very expensive, I mean wow, so expensive like thousand man! Dunno lar, never even checked the price but if the review was accurate, I am sure you got your money's worth. The question now remains; did he tear his clothes off his body? Hmmmm ...

By the way, why is his name Rain? I know Rain comes from his name Bi but that isn't his actual name right? I saw the MTV Live In New York a few days ago and I was surprised to see so many western fans in USA! I think the most touching was when he talked about his mother's death, that really affected him and motivated him to find success. I know he was very poor, so the question like did his parents approve of his career choice was basically dumb because he didn't really have a choice right? It was do or die. He should kiss the producer of Full House AS WELL AS himself for dancing up a ...ok lar no more weather references. But well, his dancing was as powerful as tsunami, as fast and fascinating as lightning.

Ok, shut up I shall.
Just one more note ...

I can't believe China has never officially screened a 007 movie! Maybe it's the spy theme eh? Anyway great for Casino Royale and maybe finally Chinese men will learn the word suave and actually get some decently cut suits AND actually iron them. I hope ...

Daniel Craig & His Dark Materials

If there ever was a time that one should say that with age comes wisdom, or at the very least the appearance of wisdom, it is now. Case in point;

Clearly being older does agree with him. But don't you agree, generally men has to age a little to actually look agreeable although being older doesn't guarantee being more mature?

Anyway, my most favourite Casino Royale poster which took me some time to find it and finally did ...

I just finished reading all 3 books that forms His Dark Materials. Frankly can't understand a single word. Dust, spectre, 13 year olds having passionate sex (oh yes, it's true - wonder how the director gonna tackle this when filming the 3rd film) and of course worst of them all, bad parenting. I don't even like the heroine, Lyra. I just find her terribly annoying and like her father I can't see why she is so important. I do like Mrs Coulter and of course Lord Asriel, both worst parents in the world, Lord Asriel being far worse than worst. I can so imagine Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig in their respective roles. Especially Nicole Kidman whom I feel is perfect casting. What I can't understand is what's the big deal with the whole kill off God concept. Don't get me wrong; the book isn't that anti-God. It is anti establishment type of God, they love in a different universe after all. But what's the big deal? I felt myself being very detached from the story. I couldn't care less what happens to that annoying Lyra though I did care what happened to her parents, their end being rather anti-climax. Maybe the movie will be better. To even suggest the books are better than Harry Potter is wrong because different themes but JK Rowling, in her first 3 books can write so well, her narration so fluid and her imagination so vivid. Can't say the same about the author of His Dark Materials who tend to be going to all sorts of narration, rather not very focused. And I have issues with 13 year olds having passionate sex. Sorry, but I don't care if she's Eve or he's Adam. She's 13. And everybody in this book has a tendency of calling people by their full name. Just imagine if this was made in Malaysia. Imagine "Hello Arumuguman Anthalachemi Son Of Arun Arumugam Analaichemy, hello Au Yeung Chun Wah, and hello to you too Ali David Michael Ahmad Zakaria Bin Amin Abu Hassan ...". Half a page just the names. Mental!

Anyway not bad books but didn't enjoy them as much as I wanted to. The write should have just written a book about Lord Asriel and Mrs Coulter and their love affair. That would have been a better read because I find both these characters very enigmatic. I really don't like Lyra or even Will for that matter or Serafina Pekkala or everybody else except for the polar bear (can't wait to see the movie version of the polar bear).

The movie's coming soon. Can't wait. For now, pictures of Lord Asriel and Mrs Coulter. In the books, funny enough Mrs Coulter is supposed to be dark haired, in the movie obviously golden which is appropriate. Lord Asriel is supposed to look like Jason Isaacs which would be perfect casting but well, Daniel Craig is more charismatic and he can look cold and detached. In the book he is suppossed to be dark haired too I think. In the movie obviously blonde.

I can't imagine that young actress, maybe 1 or 2 years from now having to film a passionate love scene more so sex scene. But then Dakota Fanning filmed a rape scene, albeit not really filmed but the insinuation was there. 12 and already she is doing insinuations. Is she that desperate to challenge herself as an actress? The director said she wasn't exploiting young Dakota (by the way the actress who plays Lyra is also called Dakota) but rather it's a film about women and those sort of things. But when I read after filming the scene and feeling very satisfied with her performance, Dakota Fanning actually happily smiled, since successful scene and great performance. And that is the scary part. She clearly does not understand the magnitude of the scene she just filmed and by smiling for a child is like no big deal when it should be. Children shouldn't film rape scenes, even if it insinuation by clever camera works and good editing skills. What happened to subtlety?

Answer me this; can you see the quotes?

I'ver never really asked this before because I assume everyone could see the text and no one complained. But now I must ask because my next layout willn be heavily dependant on javacript.

Please answer me this via Post A Comment; just a yes or no answer to the following whether you're using IE, Firefox, Crazy Browser, Opera or whatever:-

a. can you see text within the Quote Unquote box above?

b. are they in blue, like I have formatted the font size and colour? OR do you see them in ugly big black fonts?

If you can't see or can see but they're unformatted fonts, please include also your browser name and version.

Thanks for your help.

Oscars, dull Oscars

And so the nominees list is out and guess what? No surprise, simply boring, dull and oh so Oscars. I was so hoping to be pleasantly surprised. At least Beyonce is not nominated.

I have nothing against cute talented Abigail Breslin but what she did in the movie Little Miss Sunshine does not merit a nomination, simply praises for being talented when so young. Dakota Fanning must be fuming!

So no Christian Bale, one of the finest actors there is, no The Prestige, one of the best movies of 2006 and definitely no Casino Royale, the best reviewed wide released movie at rottentomatoes.com or even Daniel Craig, possibly the best makeover for an actor as well as for an archaic character that is James Bond. I think the ballots must be fixed since how can probably the most praised performance of the year by an actor so villified just a year before that could get no love? And Meryl Streep,a miscast in my opinion in The Devil Wears Prada which is nothing more than a feel good fluffy movie (the ending that is) got nominated? Are there so few performances worthy of any attention? And I just looked at the list again; NO BRAD PITT! Yeah but not so yeah. The BAFTAS is more logical.

This is pure ridiculous stuff. And I guess to pull up the ratings they will of course ask Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and even Daniel Craig to present awards. Yep, good enough to help pull the ratings, great enough to get the most praises BUT sorry, no love from the Oscars.

I am truly and utterly disgusted.

Oscars, you're just so boring. Abigail Breslin? Mark Wahlberg? Will Smith? Good actors but the top 5 of the year?

Poor Christian Bale. I think he needs to be a comatose patient in a movie about civil war set in the futuristic times of chaos before he gets nominated whilst Daniel Craig, I think if rumours are true, if he gets to play the murdered Russian spy, I think maybe he can get a nomination next year.

Even Casino Royale and The Prestige didn't get a mention in the Adapted Screenplay category. So the netizens were right; they were great performances that were snubbed. Maybe this is the way it is; sometimes you're such great actors, you're consistently good and therefore taken for granted as you deliver great performances each and every time.

From the looks of it, Jennifer Hudson may win an Oscar. She hasn't got much competition in terms of postive breakout performances in the same category.

Oscars....bland and boring and dull as usual.

Tom Hanks as 007? Various spoofs for your viewing pleasure.

Yes indeed! Just don't eat whilst you're watching this mock trailer of Casino Royale. You might choke, with laughter!!

Or this one, just watch it to believe it is possible to merge Singing In The Rain with Star Wars!

And we don't have to see the next X-Men to know Wolverine's cryptic past!

And just in case you missed this one, who knew Doc had a special interest in Marty? I mean is every guy pals now a "brokeback" parody?

You can download all these from chocolatecakecity.com. Or to view offline, why not download it into your computer via Clipnabber.com?

For more info on how to convert these videos from .flv to .avi for example, check out my How To & Where To download clips from Youtube or Ifilm & convert to various formats? (updated from the last version which is obsolete).

Edie Sedgwick : How does a drugged out person sound like?

So...this is how a person with years of drug abuse sounds like ...

Truth be told, I kinda lost my patience with the drunken type of talks which is slurred at most within like 5 minutes into the clip. Some said this could be a voiceover but the one who posted this video said it was real, snippets taken from the narrator's movie, The Ciao Manhattan Tapes. If you're wondering who this person is, she was Edie Sedgwick, one time muse of Andy Warhol, rumoured lover of Bob Dylan (though many said more like she was in love with him and that it was never consummated), famous socialite and cousin of Kyra Sedgwick, wife of Kevin Bacon. She was a total screwed up chick who had a troubled childhood thanks to her equally troubled parents, met the wrong set of people, been in and out of mental hospital for many years and too many times (unlike nowadays they call these centres rehabs), was too beautiful that it was as much a curse as it was a blessing and definitely did not have any true friends since she died of drug overdose at the age of 28. Oh yeah, Sienna Miller [the actress that truly defines JLo's comments (made of Gwyneth Paltrow when she was dating Brad Pitt) "hot by association" thanks to her very public on/off/on/off/on/off relationship with Jude Law and her one time short lived rumoured affair with Jude Law's best chum, the handsome but clearly lacking taste in women during that time of lost years, Daniel Craig] recently played her in the movie, The Factory Girl. I saw that movie and may I say, her acting was mediocre at best and truth be told, the real person was far prettier in a very waif-ish way whilst Sienna Miller, whilst much younger than the real person was when she died, actually looked older. She is simply a poor actress and I never liked her.

Anyway the reason I posted this video is to let you hear how does a drug out chick sound like and how she lived and died with the hope that if you're young, pretty, rich and tempted to be a drug addict, please don't waste your God given good genes. Being a drugged out chick is so cliche.

By the way, she reminds me of Paris Hilton, only the drugged out one whilst Paris is more like allergic to underwears which begs the question; what exactly did she do that made her so famous? Acting? Nope. Singing? Nope. Pretty? Maybe. Rich? Probably. Lived fast and died young? Definitely.

In other words, not to be mean to an already dead person who died even before I was born, she was perhaps the ultimate wallpaper/wallflower/flower vase. In that sense, Paris Hilton is slightly more useful. Some people are just famous for being famous.

Read more about her here.

Drugs, not good stuff. I don't even smoke, I tried to but in the end I gave up because frankly speaking all my actions is governed by my economic means; drugs and smoking are simply too expensive a hobby (in terms of money and health) and I don't want to sound like her and die like her and even live like her. I don't to make such an "impact" like her. I'd rather be ordinary, and actually useful in a useful kinda way, thank you very much.

Elliot Yamin, where are you?!

Well, according to this very active fansite, he has an album coming out with Sony! So that's why he has been so quiet, busy with his album! But what about Taylor Hicks? Where is his album? If Daughtry can churn one out so fast, why can't the more talented ones do it faster? Anyway Daughtry's song that is receiving heavy radio play is like every other songs I have heard. Pretty boring. Where are you Elliot? Where are you Taylor?

And did you see the new American Idol? Is it 6? Wow, 6 years! Saw some (wanted to see more but my family rather watch the junk Fantasy Hotel so I decided to sulk and blog about how sucky is Fantasy Hotel - Fantasy Hotel sucks BIG TIME!!!) and I must say no favourites thus far. Will have to wait and see ...

Rain's coming to town

Well, it was flood first of course, and now bona fide Rain. I am sure our fellow friends at Johor would be screaming with fright. Did you see the water level?

Anyway I decided to post happy news. To some Rain coming to town may be a big happy news. I saw his ads on TV, he looks very very much more handsome with his short cut BUT a whole lot thinner. Are you going to watch him perform? Some says watching him ripping off his shirt is worth the admission price alone.

Golden Globe Awards 2007

The British has landed! So many brit actors winning! And all of them gave memorable, elegant and for one, really funny speech, well better than those boring and sometimes stuttering Americans and Australians. My favourite win had to be Hugh Laurie for House MD. He looked exactly like his character, without the limp and his speech was witty. Helen Mirren made history of some kind today; she won for both her portrayals of Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II which means she has played and won awards for both the ancestor of Queen E and Queen E herself. I am sure Her Majesty may be very pleased with this results so you won't hear her high pitched voices screaming "Off with her head!!". Jeremy Irons won for Elizabeth I and his speech was witty and with a tinge of humility. I really like him although I do think Toby Jones should have been nominated and won. Cars won which was great! So happy!!

Funniest speech had to be Sacha Baron Cohen. It was just so vulgar and yet so funny. And guess what? Made another history; he won for his very politically incorrect character but then who cares about Kath...a..zisk..however you spell that country! And Americans now we know has a sense of humour when it comes to themselves! Best song was cute since Prince won for Happy Feet and he wasn't there to receive the award. Later he was there and he was late because of traffic jam!! And to think he wore such nice suit and all. Poor Leonardo DiCaprio can officially throw himself into the sea for being Sammie Cheng of the awards shows since nominated twice in the same category and still he lost. LOST big time. Most boring moment was Warren Beatty speech and most perplexing time had to be Foreign Language Film which had 2 American produced movies in that category whilst Babel, as the director boasted has 5 different languages and yet it is not a Foreign Languaged movie. Strange indeed.

Then there was Dream Girls. Good that Jennifer Hudson won but whilst she is crying and all, I can't help but feel fake fake fake. The song she sang can be sung by anyone who knows how to scream. BUT at least she won. Because if Beyonce did, that is the end of all ends. You see everybody said Beyonce would win. But she is not an actress, she is a singer and a singer in the movie industry is a nobody. Nobody cares what Beyonce want. She looks a tad disappointed but well Beyonce, there's still 10 years later. Her acting is superficial so between she and Hudson, I'd prefer Hudson. Moreover to e nominated in Best Actress in Musical/Comedy means instant death. Nobody would let her win. She would have had a better chance being Supporting Actress. However Meryl Streep winning wasn't my choice too. I mean am I the only one who thought she was a miscast in The Devil Wears Prada where that role should have gone to Glenn Close?

But the worst moment had to be this;

Cameron Diaz, introducing The Departed said it was from a HK flick called INTERNAL AFFAIRS. INTERNAL. Dumb I will say. This is how much respect they have for the original flick when the name's wrong. IT IS INFERNAL AFFAIRS. INFERNAL!! Shows that she has never seen the original flick I suppose.

Overall a good show with some good and deserving wins. Now to Oscars, I wanna see the following:-

Best Film
Casino Royale
The Prestige
Other 3 movies to fill in the blanks

Hopeful Win : Casino Royale but it will never happen.

Best Actor
Daniel Craig for Casino Royale, a likely possibility
Christian Bale for any movies he was in in 2006
3 more to fill in the blanks

Hopeful Win : Either Craig or Bale, either choice is so remote, it would be more likely for a meteor to hit Earth today than them winning.

Best Animated Feature
A surewin in Cars

The rest I really do not care.

So happy!!

Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson should be so jealous of Jake Gyllenhaal

I always knew Jake Gyllenhaal has a sense of humour but I never knew he has a pair of great big lungs as well! A must watch video of Jake Gyllenhaal giving Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson a run for their money on Saturday Night Live. Fantastic and he does look very pretty in a dress. I wonder is Kirsten Dunst watching this?

UPDATE
Disappointingly NBC told spineless Youtube to remove the clip and so you can't watch it online no more. BUT you can download it HERE. Just scroll down to Saturday Night Live and look for the following logo:-

Definitely worth the download.

I'm back AND I want to cry!!

No no me wanting to cry has nothing to do with the fact I am back though I am all smiles. Did you miss me? No? Ok...ok..

I want to cry because of the following song which I found here ar Dedicated To Daniel forum where reportedly and I do think it is true that Daniel Craig himself sang this song! It is from Infamous, title of the song is Long Lost Goldmine In The Sky, and that in itself sounds so depressing. I don't know why; felt like crying when I was listening to this job. Reminded me so much of Christian Bale's singing; not great but sincere and therefore very addictive. A bit of voice training and I do think Daniel Craig can release a folk songs album. Really worth the listen. But his character in the movie Infamous reportedly killed I think 4 people. Remember the excellent movie Capote? Well this is the 2nd take on the same true story with Craig playing the convicted killer Perry Smith. Anyway depressing song.

If the song doesn't start, try pushing the play button a few times. I tested it and it works just fine. In case you wanna download the song, the url is as below;

http://media.point2e.com/dc_longlostgoldmineinthesky.mp3

NOTE : Pls do not link directly to this link above, pls download to your computer and listen to it offline or use the Realplayer above.

By the way really great big congrats to Daniel Craig for his nomination as best actor at the BAFTA Awards. He won't win but miracle do happen. Now if only Oscar is willing to recognise that blockbuster movies DO have performances worthy of an Oscar nod.

Seriously, did you miss me?

Res Ipsa Loquitor

meaning THE FACT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF in Latin. Need I say more?

I must protest though. Adopted? No way! Married more like it ...

[From Danielcraigfan.com]

Some of my favourite pictures of Daniel Craig, apart that one that made me a very happy woman, at the moment are ...

NOTE : I wanted to post more, hence the plurals in my sentence but imageshack somehow major problems. Will update this section later ...

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

All probably photoshopped a bit but I must say ... nice...

Most favourite interview by my most favourite interviewer, Michael Parkinson ...

PART 1

PART 2

By the way I am beginning to have some grudging admiration for our local censorship board. After watching a bit of the uncensored version of Casino Royale, which in itself doesn't merit any censorship at all, I realised how seamlessly our guys managed to edit certain ermmm action sequences. Of course that would mean also certain plot points were edited out, like why Bond suddenly went to Miami but anyway, seamless. Can't wait for the DVD.

ATTENTION : HOW TO VOTE FOR WAYNE LAI (ASTRO DRAMA AWARDS)

IMPORTANT UPDATE
My apologies to Kidd and those who followed my instruction. Because ASTRO website got it wrong also. I have amended the SMS voting instruction below. Now I know why Wayne is destined to lose. No one would have had the patience of reading the instruction again and again just to see ASTRO screwed up big time. Even the SMS Code is different from the example they gave. Anyway Wayne's code is not 2 but B. Yes, B. By the way phone voting is easier.

Thanks to Kidd for reminding me to post how to vote in the ASTRO Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards for Wayne Lai whom I talked about in this post. I am sure many of you appreciate someone who can actually act and act well. Wayne Lai is a fine example and he has been robbed of this recognition at the TVB awards just recently, where in his category his award went to that super boring Wong Tak Bun if I am not mistaken. I don't want him to win special recognition or veteran award. I know this award show is stupid, silly and probably fixed but hell, have faith my friends. Maybe it is for real, so let's vote for Wayne Lai. I like Johnson Lee too, who is in the same category but come one, it's Wayne's time. I am under no illusion he will win, but at least he should have more votes than he will probably get. Enough with those crappy actors who can't act but looks pretty. I don't think you need to be a Malaysian to vote. Just get your handphone or phone ready. Not sure if overseas vote is accepted, but you can try. The cost is 50 cents per vote, expensive but I am sure you can afford RM5-00.

You don't have to be an ASTRO subscriber to vote. Just follow the steps and since I am only talking about Wayne Lai and those in his category, the following instructions is the full instruction on how to vote for him.

I made a huge mistake. Wayne is not under the supporting actor category since they don't have one, but he is under scene stealer.

So this is the guy you should be voting for ...

WAYNE LAI YOU CHUENG

Ok, the instructions ...

1. Wayne's code is as follows:-

Category: Scene Stealer
(B) Hon Soon (The Conqueror's Story) – Wayne Lai

2. You can vote either by phone or by SMS. I recommend SMS which is 50 cents per sms. At least vote RM5-00 then he will have a decent chance.

BY SMS
1. In message, write

WLT6 B

WLT6 is the category code, 2 is Wayne's code. Remember there is a space between WLT6 and B.

3. Then send message to 33888

BY PHONE
1. Call 13718 which is a fixed line. Wait for your call to connect, the moment someone speaks...

2. Click on number 2 (TWO). Remember, the Chinese operator will say "To vote for Lai Yiu Cheung's Hon Sun, please click two". If you don't understand Chinese, just call the number and then click TWO on your phone. The girl says thanks and you can put down the phone. Each call is 50 cents.

Tnat's it. Wayne Lai's fans ... time to do your thing. Each vote RM10-00, may not win but at least a good try.

YOU HAVE UNTIL 13.01.2007 at 11.59pm (M'sian time) TO VOTE!!!!!!! YOU CAN VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE OR AS YOU CAN AFFORD!!!!!

For others, the website's here. Go read it yourself. Truth be told the rest (as in other categories) are mostly crap.

What I am reviewing lately ...& an appeal to fellow Malaysians ...

Just a note to tell you yes I am still writing reviews. I have a few I haven't posted yet as I am trying to find the diskettes and I have also 2 new reviews by Bridget Au. I am writing Wars Of In Laws and after Revolving Doors Of Vengeance finishes its awfully long run, I will writing an opinion on that series, which by the way must have made Hacken Lee a very happy man. If you think Casino Royale has loads of in your face product placement, this series has what I would term as in your face artiste promotion. Too blatant to disregard, since two lead characters' handphone also carry the themesong's tune.

The ASTRO awards is coming soon, encouraging people to cast votes for series that has yet to end its run over at ASTRO or even started to show on ASTRO. I am tempted not to vote at all, since none deserves a win, maybe as I have written in my Wars Of In Laws review, Liza Wang should win simply because she is the least worst in her category. Themesong of course is Hacken Lee Vs Hacken Lee because the rest were mediocre or bad. The real fight should be in Most Favourite Supporting Actor but you know, Wayne Lai won't win even if I want him to. Everybody else was good but come on...Wayne Lai was robbed of every recognition, he really deserves one. I hope Malaysian audiences would have good taste in choosing who to win but I suspect, well since Twins of Brother or whatever won so much, well we simply have no taste I suppose. My sister said she has loads of free money to vote so she plans to vote half for Revolving Doors' themesong and also for Wayne Lai. I told her..

"Sis, don't bother. Everybody will vote for that themesong but no one will vote for Wayne Lai. So why not use 100% of your money to at least give Wayne Lai a decent chance?"

Dear fellow Malaysians, here is my appeal to you. I really don't care about the others or whatever category, but please, give Wayne Lai a win. Vote for his Hon Sun...just vote for Wayne LAI YIU CHEUNG. Come on, give him a chance to say thanks and renew my faith in awards show and the Malaysian pro choice of purely good taste.

So, remember...WAYNE LAI YIU CHEUNG as Hon Sun. Give him a vote. Just in case you don't know who he is, this is him ...

By the way my website hosting is up for renewal on the 08.01.2007. In case you don't see this website online, it probably means my credit card may need further clarification. So don't panic. I am still here ...

So is Fann Wong no longer the "IT" girl?

I mean I was reading through the papers this past month and I discovered that Fann Wong is no longer the face (or rather hairless representative) of Bella Skin Care or whatever the name is. In her place I saw Kate or Kathy Chow from HK. I mean her beauty and her skin is of no match to Fann Wong's flawless skin, even if Fann Wong is, shockingly I realised 36 or 37 years old! I mean she looks 10 years younger! So is she being replaced? Read no news on that. Is she being side stepped? Why?

Abigail Breslin : Her cuteness!

She is so cute! I saw Little Miss Sunshine, and whilst I do not think it is the best movie or funniest in 2006, it was a very enjoyable film. What wasn't so funny though was how the movie tried to play down this little girl's beauty but don't be fooled. She is very very pretty and will grow into a very pretty girl. Now aged ten, she seems far more unpretentious and more spontaneous than Dakota Fanning, and in my opinion, a better child actor. I remember her from Signs and of course in the interview below she emphasised she is heavy being 65 pounds, I am glad she is not some skinny girl. Her dress looks so pretty and I love her answer; very witty without being painfully aware of being witty. She was also very cute in Signs. I am sure you must know her big brother, Spencer Breslin who was in a Bruce Willis movie, the title of which I can't remember. Brother is a bit plump but also very very cute without losing that childlike quality. Now must be older kid. Anyway, enjoy the interview. She is so cute!!

Can you identify the tattoo?

It's not a trick question but an earnest question. I have been looking at this picture ...

Ok, Nicole Kidman is beautiful, Daniel Craig is ruggedly gorgeous. But look at the tattoo on his arm (must have been a major make up problem during filming of Casino Royale since I didn't see this one but then Angelina Jolie would have been a problem too since she has tattoos everywhere).

I have been trying to figure out what is the tattoo about. To me it looks like a broom with two hands (fingers pointing at itself like Yo! Look at me! and a blown up skirt ala Marilyn Monroe. It could be some ancient art. Does someone know? Care to explain and elaborate?
