50 shades of grey

Post a comment Print or Download as PDF

= 50 shades of rubbish. Not the intention but the contents. Badly written book but next to Twilight or even perhaps Hunger Games, it is a recyclable rubbish as opposed to Hunger Games' undivided rubbish or worse, Twilight's ultimate rubbish. And a stroke to men's ego that hidden deep down in every materialistic young virginal hot innocent girl-woman, is a submissive waiting to be spanked and begging to be spanked because to have love and be loved is to spank and be spanked. Maybe... but doesn't mean I agree with it. Is it me or is the author screaming "Christian Bale, HIT ME!"?

Wiki said this story started out as a Twilight fanfiction before the author change it to original story.

    1. Kidd, the entire basis and popularity of this book is about BDSM and the idea of submissive and dominant set in a love story of sort. Many actually skipped those parts because they were boring. The actual relationship between the 2 leads is quite readable if not frustratingly 1 note, so for it to take 3 books to end in the inevitable ending is to me waste of my time to continue reading.

  3. Nope. I also see it in every bookshop and sometimes wanted to buy. But, the premise about Abraham Lincoln as a Vampire Hunter still hard to accept. But, my colleague who has watched the movie said the zombie part did gel well with history. Th author use the zombie angle to explain why Abraham Lincoln abolish slavery.
